Tropical Smoothie Café, a tropical-themed smoothie and sandwich chain with more than 280 locations, will celebrate the holiday season with a “Cater the Day Giveaway” promotion from November 1, 2009, through December 29, 2009, and will offer free coffee smoothie samples every Wednesday during November.
“Cater the Day” offers customers an opportunity to win a catered holiday party by registering at www.tropicalsmoothiecafe.com. Tropical Smoothie Café will be giving a way a party a day from November 25, 2009 through December 29, 2009.
“Customers love holiday parties, and we want to make it easy for them to gather with family and friends without the hassle of cooking a meal,” says Barbara Valentino, vice president of marketing and communications for Tropical Smoothie Café.
“Our party trays give them a tasty variety that will liven up any holiday party.”
Each party includes sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, cookies, and assorted chips, and is valued at $100. The bistro sandwich/toasted wrap offerings include two Turkey Bacon Ranch sandwiches, two Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad Sandwiches, two Totally Turkey Wraps, two King Caesar Wraps and two Buffalo Chicken Wraps.
Along with the sandwiches and toasted wraps, winners will also enjoy the 10 real-fruit, 12-ounce smoothies. Each catered party includes two each of the following smoothies: Jetty Punch, Sunrise Sunset, Kiwi Quencher, Blimey Limey and Acai Berry Boost.
Customers who stop in at Tropical Smoothie Café will also have an opportunity to try free Coffee Smoothie samples during November. Every Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tropical Smoothie Café will feature a different flavor. On November 4 it’s Mocha Madness; November 11, Caramel Cream; November 18, Coffee Nut; and November 25, Cinn City.
“With customers busy preparing for the holidays, we wanted to offer them a chance to take a little time out and enjoy our delicious coffee smoothies,” Valentino says.
And for a limited time, customers can enjoy the season-inspired Cranberry Truffle smoothie. This Tropical Tradition, fan-favorite smoothie blends cranberries and strawberries, Ghiradelli white chocolate, non-fat yogurt, and turbinado.
