El Pollo Loco announced the addition of its new limited-time Buffaloco Wings.
Available in restaurants beginning September 12, El Pollo Loco’s new Buffaloco Wings are prepared to order and then smothered in one of two sauces: Spicy Buffaloco sauce or Tangy BBQ sauce. The Spicy Buffaloco sauce offers a twist on traditional Buffalo sauce through the infusion of Mexican Oregano. The chain’s Tangy BBQ sauce includes Chipotle Peppers, Habanaro Chili, and citrus juices.
“We’re celebrating America’s love affair with wings by smothering our new Buffaloco Wings in sensational sauces you won’t find anywhere else,” says Karen Eadon, chief marketing officer for El Pollo Loco Inc. “Serving family and friends authentic, mouthwatering wings covered in a choice of signature sauces is now as easy as visiting your local El Pollo Loco.”
El Pollo Loco’s new Buffaloco Wings will be available through the end of the year in quantities of five, 10, 20, and 30. Consumers can also add 10 Buffaloco Wings to any combo or family meal purchase for $5.
El Pollo Loco will communicate its new Buffaloco Wings through a multimedia campaign that includes television commercials in select West Coast markets beginning September 21. In addition to television advertising, a wide mix of point-of-purchase vehicles will introduce El Pollo Loco’s Buffaloco Wings, including window clings, translites, register displays, and drive-thru communication.
