Great American Cookies introduced its newest flavor in time for fall: Apple Harvest Nut cookie. The new cookie, which debuts in stores on August 31, combines the flavors of apple, oatmeal, granola, white chocolate chunks, nuts, and cinnamon and is topped with powdered sugar. The cookie is the first flavor from the company to incorporate fruit flavors.

The Apple Harvest Nut cookie launch will take place during Great American Cookies’ fall celebration, which also highlights new seasonal Cookie Cake designs, and is supported by NexCen Franchise Management Inc., a subsidiary of NexCen Brands Inc.

“Apple Harvest Nut is the result of months of research and development and we can’t wait for our customers to taste what we feel is the perfect combination of fall flavors,” says Michael Curtis, vice president of plant operations and head of NexCen Franchise Management’s R&D department. “This cookie is the first from Great American Cookies that incorporates not only chewy granola, but also an apple flavor.”
