Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation is making available football doughnut treats beginning August 17. The treats are topped with chocolate icing and white iced laces.
Krispy Kreme is also offering special “Tailgate Packs” to its lineup. “Tailgate Packs” include one dozen football doughnuts and one dozen Krispy Kreme signature Original Glazed doughnuts.
“Don’t be a rookie when planning pre-game bashes, half-time breaks and even post-game celebrations,” says Ron Rupocinski, corporate chef at Krispy Kreme. “Pick up a guaranteed fan favorite—Krispy Kreme’s ‘Tailgate Packs.’ Our football doughnut is the perfect one-of-a-kind way to show your team pride, whether you’re cheering for a high school, college, or pro team this season.”
Tailgate Packs and football doughnuts are available until September 30 at participating stores nationwide. Beginning on October 1, football doughnuts will be available only on weekends until Super Bowl Sunday on February 7. Football doughnuts decorated in team colors can be ordered at no additional cost by calling a local participating Krispy Kreme store at least 48 hours in advance.
