Culver’s Restaurants are entering the New Year with smarter, healthier food choices in mind. In partnership with Gundersen Lutheran Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin, Culver’s is using the 500 Club program (menu options that are 500 calories or less and controlled in fat) to help guests make healthy eating decisions. The joint effort emphasizes Culver’s values of doing it right for guests, and the 500 Club’s philosophy that all foods are good in moderation.

The 500 Club is a healthy-eating program coordinated by Gundersen Lutheran Health System registered dietitians and recommended by physicians. All 500 Club choices are part of a balanced diet that provides approximately 50 percent carbohydrate, 30 percent fat and 20 percent protein.

“By offering healthy menu choices for our guests, we can continue to uphold our doing what’s right mentality,” says Chris Contino, vice president of marketing for Culver’s. “The 500 Club provides an easy, visible menu solution for guests looking for healthy ways to achieve deliciousness at Culver’s. This partnership is a great way to start the New Year.”

500 Club style menu options include:

• ButterBurger and Specialty Sandwiches

• 500 Club Style Value Basket Meals

• Garden Fresh Salads and Dressings

• Assorted Soups and Sides
