Joining Moe’s Southwest Grill standards like the Homewrecker burrito and the John Coctostan quesadilla on the menu this summer is the Southwestern Cobb Salad — just the fourth limited-time offer the fresh Mex brand has made.

The Southwestern Cobb Salad features chopped romaine lettuce topped with the customer’s choice of protein, bacon, fresh mango, cucumber, shredded cheese, pico de gallo, olives, and cilantro, which are then topped with a drizzle of Moe’s new guacamole ranch dressing.

“Our guests are ready for fresh, new flavors, which is why adding distinctive ingredients like guacamole ranch dressing and fresh mango makes perfect sense for us,” says Daniel Barash, director of research and development for Moe’s Southwest Grill. “The cilantro, cucumbers and pico de gallo made fresh every day give it a refreshing finish, ideal for a satisfying meal on a hot summer day.”

Moe’s marketing director Sara Riggsby adds that the chain’s recent research indicates that 14 percent of Moe’s consumers said that new salad offerings would encourage them to go to Moe’s more often. “Based on the positive feedback and favorable sales during the market test,” she says, “we anticipate the Southwestern Cobb will be a hit with our consumers.”

The Southwestern Cobb Salad is available at all 384 Moe’s locations nationwide from May 6 until June 30 for a suggested retail price of $7.29.
