This month Carvel Ice Cream will launch six new blended frozen drinks to become permanent menu items at over 500 locations nationwide.
Known for premium soft serve, hand dipped ice cream products and uniquely shaped ice cream cakes, Carvel now offers Arctic Blenders in three unique flavors and three distinctive Blended Coffee Drinks:
Cookie Dough Arctic Blender: An icy blend of cookie dough and Carvel’s own vanilla flavoring garnished with chocolate syrup then topped with whipped cream and cookie dough chunks.
Peanut Butter Arctic Blender: A mixture of ice, peanut butter, peanut butter cups, chocolate syrup and Carvel’s own vanilla flavoring garnished with chocolate syrup then topped with whipped cream and crushed peanut butter cups.
Fried Ice Cream Arctic Blender: Combines ice, caramel, Carvel’s own vanilla flavoring, cinnamon and cinnamon toast crunch and garnished with caramel syrup then topped with whipped cream and cinnamon toast crunch.
Mocha Freeze: An icy blend of Carvel’s own vanilla flavoring, coffee extract, chocolate and vanilla syrup garnished with chocolate syrup then topped with whipped cream and crunchies.
Caramel Macchiato Freeze: Blends ice, Carvel’s own vanilla flavoring, coffee extract, caramel and vanilla syrup garnished with caramel then topped with whipped cream and crunchies.
Coffee Freeze: Combines ice, Carvel’s own vanilla flavoring, coffee extract and vanilla syrup garnished with chocolate syrup then topped with whipped cream and crunchies.
“Carvel already offers Thick Shakes, Malts, Carvelanches and Floats, but I believe our new blended beverages will catapult us into a position where we can be leaders in the beverage category,” explains Gary Bales, president of Carvel Ice Cream. “During the market test we conducted last summer, the new beverages accounted for three percent of total beverage sales.”
To launch the six new flavors, Carvel is making Happy Hour even happier by offering the new blended frozen drinks for free on May 1. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., participating Carvel locations are sharing eight ounce servings of the latest menu edition, the Artic Blenders and Blended Coffee drinks, free of charge; no strings attached.
Carvel anticipates giving away over 20,000 free beverages during this two hour event.
