The Associated Press reported today that In-N-Out co-founder Esther Snyder died Friday at 86 years old. Snyder’s family declined to reveal the cause of death, according to AP reports.

“Mrs. Snyder showed us all how to be a great leader and businessperson,” Mark Taylor, In-N-Out vice president of operations and Snyder’s successor as president, told the AP. “She expected hard work from associates and in return she believed in rewarding them well and treating them as members of one family.”
