Cosi has completed its move to a new Support Center in Deerfield, Illinois. As Cosi announced in May, it determined that a new support facility was required to provide a more appropriate infrastructure for executing future restaurant development, oversight and training of franchisees, operators and field partners, and that the Chicago-area location satisfied Cosi’s space and accessibility requirements economically while enabling the Company to operate in the hub of the restaurant industry.

Cosi also announced that it has established and filled a General Counsel position and appointed a new Vice President of Marketing and a new Controller to succeed individuals who did not relocate to Deerfield from New York.

Kevin Armstrong, Cosi’s President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “I am very pleased that we completed our transition on schedule, and that we continue to attract talented and experienced professionals who will provide valuable internal expertise and resources as we operate our business and pursue our growth strategies.”

Vicki Baue has joined Cosi as its General Counsel. Prior to joining Cosi, Ms. Baue was a senior associate at Piper Rudnick LLP, where she advised corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions, SEC matters, real estate, franchising, and general employment law. Prior to joining Piper Rudnick, she served in legal and operating roles for the Indianapolis, IN-based Creative Expressions Group, Inc, and served in operating roles at the Pizza Hut division of Yum! Brands, Inc.

Terry See has joined the Company as Vice President for Marketing. Prior to joining Cosi, Mr. See held senior marketing roles at YUM! Brands, Inc. and at its Long John Silvers division, with a particular focus on brand development, market analysis, and field marketing. Prior to joining Long John Silvers, Terry was in field marketing at McDonald’s and also held a marketing and research position at Proctor and Gamble.

Bill Koziel, Cosi’s new Controller, is a certified public accountant who previously served as Controller at Galyans Trading Company, the publicly- traded sporting goods and outdoor equipment and apparel retailer. He also has held senior finance roles at the Homelife real estate services division of Sears.
