On February 26, 2001, Burger King Corporation kicks off its latest
kids’ promotion with international movie star and role model Jackie Chan. The Burger King® Jackie Chan
Adventures premiums, based on Sony Pictures Family Entertainment’s (SPFE) highly rated Saturday morning
series on the Kids’ WB!, features Jackie Chan’s character using classic crime fighting action through the use of
comedic stunts. The Jackie Chan Adventures premiums will be exclusively available at participating Burger
King® restaurants in the U.S. and Canada through March 25th, or while supplies last.

These premiums individually provide the unique play function that kids enjoy and, as a bonus, can be combined to
work together. Any Jackie Chan premium will interact in a fun action sequence with any of the “Villain” premiums.
The “stunt double” activation is easy and involves no complex setup — just put the bad guys into place and activate
Jackie.

“With Jackie Chan Adventures, Burger King Corporation partners with the next hot kids’ property on the market
and delivers a highly collectible program that delights children with every visit,” said Richard Taylor, vice president
of USA marketing for Burger King Corporation. “The strong non- violent messages and the family values
projected clearly in the show are complementary strategic fits with the Burger King® brand.”

Kids’ WB! premiered 13 half-hour episodes of Jackie Chan Adventures from SPFE in Fall 2000 and has garnered
critical acclaim, receiving an early 39-episode second season pick-up. Jackie Chan Adventures will bring more of
Jackie Chan action-comedy-adventure to Kids’ WB!’s weekday afternoon line-up, airing six days a week in Fall
2001. Burger King Corporation was in the forefront to capture the heat of this new property with this exciting
promotion.

Recommended by the TV Guide’s Parents’ Guide to Kids’ TV as one of the ten best new kids’ shows, Jackie Chan
Adventures combines the eye-popping “anime’- style” animation with fast-paced comedy to create an
action-adventure show like no other. In the show, Jackie’s character plays an amazingly nimble archaeologist who
uses his athleticism and real-life superhero qualities to battle the villains. He teams up with Jade, his 11-year-old
niece, to travel the world seeking adventure. Jackie employs his martial arts skills to defeat his aggressors and
uses expert improvisation to defend himself and escape danger. He always beats the bad guys but defends
himself only after trying to avoid trouble first.

Each week throughout the Burger King® promotion, a Jackie Chan premium and a “Villain” premium will be
offered. This series of eight high-quality premiums, inspired by the Jackie Chan Adventures characters, are
available with the purchase of a Burger King Big Kids Meal(TM) or Kids Meal.

The BURGER KING® Jackie Chan Adventures promotion will be supported with national kid-directed television
advertising, which will break on February 25. The spots were created by Lowe Lintas & Partners. In-restaurant
merchandising has also been created to support the promotion. For more information on Jackie Chan
