Harold O. Rosser, a 20-plus-year veteran of the private equity industry and a leading investor in the restaurant sector, announced the formation of Rosser Capital Partners (RCP). Utilizing its in-depth industry knowledge and relationships, RCP will focus primarily on restaurant investments, in addition to consumer and multiunit retail companies.

“I believe now is an appropriate time in my career to establish an independent platform from which to invest,” says Rosser, managing partner of RCP. “While it was a difficult decision to make, I am very excited about this new path I have chosen. RCP is perhaps the only private equity firm with a specific emphasis on the restaurant sector and my goal is to leverage our industry experience and previous successes to build strong companies. Our new group looks forward to working closely with the senior management teams of leading companies to implement strategic growth initiatives and create lasting value.”

Rosser began his investment career in 1987 at Citicorp Venture Capital Ltd. (CVC). In 1995, he cofounded Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co. Inc. (BRS). Prior to joining CVC, he spent 12 years with Citicorp / Citibank in various management and corporate finance positions.

Also joining RCP as a Partner is Jacob A. Organek, who has worked closely with Rosser since 2003 at BRS where he was a managing director. Luke J. Rosser who worked with Messrs. Rosser and Organek at BRS, joins the firm as a vice president.

“I am proud of what we accomplished at BRS over the past 15 years,” Harold Rosser says. “I want to thank all of my former colleagues for their friendship and support and I am certain they will continue to identify exciting new investment opportunities in which to invest and I wish them continued future success.”
