Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries has signed a deal with C-Side Development to open a store in Norfolk, Virginia. Jason Armstrong of C-Side Development reports that the company is currently negotiating a lease in the tidewater are of Norfolk that is slated to be open by August 2011.

Armstrong and his business partners, Timothy Snoots, David Hale, and John Sanker, bring a combination of business and entrepreneurial experience and energy to this venture. The gentlemen are already working on marketing and community involvement strategies for their first location.

When asked why they chose Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries, Armstrong says that Snoots was familiar with its sister company, Boardwalk Fries.  Having checked out other fast-casual concepts previously without satisfaction, they visited the Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries website with interest. They subsequently contacted the corporate office of Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries, connecting with Kert Gennings, chief operating officer.

Armstrong says that the immediate and welcoming attention to their inquiries by Gennings, and the overall concept, led them to the decision that this was the right business for them. C-Side Development is already looking into its possible second and third location sites.
