Thick, crispy bacon is the latest addition to the menu of world famous Pal’s Sudden Service. The move is the first menu addition since Pal’s launched its Apple Fritter dessert in 2010.

“We are very selective in adding new items to the menu,” says Thom Crosby, Pal’s president and CEO. “We are confident that our bacon is a cut above the competition in flavor and crispy goodness.”

The addition of bacon enhances Pal’s signature Big Pal Burger and can be added to any of Pal’s limited menu items. “One of the secrets to our success has been to limit the number of items on our menu to assure that what you buy is of ultimate quality and that our drive thru wait times are the fastest in the business,” Crosby says.

The campaign launch includes a television commercial in which a flying animated pig swoops down on a Pal’s drive thru to grab his Bacon Big Pal. The integrated campaign also includes: outdoor, radio, drive thru signage, and a special Facebook promotion (www.facebook.com/PalsWeb) offering fans an opportunity to earn music gift cards.

Pal’s was the first U.S. foodservice operation to earn the Baldrige National Quality Award in 2001. The 23-unit Tennessee and Virginia chain is world famous for customer service, food quality, and employee retention. For more information on Pal’s Sudden Service, visit www.palsweb.com.
