The International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA) is co-sponsoring the 2012 Foodservice Ashore Training Meeting. The conference takes place June 11-13 at the Admiral Kidd Conference and Catering Center, Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego.

A state-of-the-industry training conference for Navy military foodservice professionals, Ashore Solutions 2012 will provide insights into industry trends, economic issues, shifts in consumer demand, and food preparation concepts and technology.

Drawing on the diverse product lines of IFMA member businesses, leading foodservice manufacturers will be introduced to leaders in Navy military foodservice. The conference will include an extensive expo of vendor products, preparation techniques and demonstrations as well as training sessions by lead IFMA member companies. 

Sessions will also include topics for manufacturers such as working within the Navy purchasing system and the ability to talk directly with each Navy region from around the world. Ashore Solutions 2012 will feature industry experts conducting general conference and training sessions.

Two individual sessions for manufacturers on Government Purchasing and on the latest trends and topics in foodservice.
