Great American Cookies will celebrate the brand’s 35th anniversary by hosting a variety of events at Great American Cookies locations nationwide. Great American Cookies is managed by GFG Management, LLC, a subsidiary of Global Franchise Group.

As a “thank you” to its fans, Great American Cookies will be giving away slices of a giant Cookie Cake, a product the brand invented in 1977. The company now sells more than a million Cookie Cakes a year. These celebratory events will be taking place all over the country throughout the summer.

Found on an old family chocolate chip cookie recipe, the first store opened in 1977 at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta. Since then the brand has expanded, now with more than 300 stores in 31 states as well as Bahrain, Chile, Guam, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates and soon to be opening in Puerto Rico.

Commenting on Great American Cookies’ success over the years, David Kaiser, Great American Cookies brand director, says, “We look forward to giving back to our loyal customers that have supported us over the years. This is a special milestone for Great American Cookies and one that would not have been possible without their support.”
