Saladworks, the nation’s first and largest fresh-tossed salad franchise concept, is opening its first location in the Pocono Mountains. Saladworks is located in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania at the Shoppes at Stroud outdoor shopping center on Route 611, immediately west of the Stroud Mall and only three miles from East Stroudsburg University.

Saladworks will be celebrating the opening of its Stroudsburg location by offering $5 salads to all customers from Monday, October 22 until Wednesday, October 24.

Stroudsburg Saladworks is owned and operated by a husband and wife team, native to Stroudsburg. They decided to open a Saladworks location after feeling the need to make a drastic change in the way they eat and becoming frustrated that few healthy dining options exist in the rapidly-developing Route 611 corridor. They believe that Stroudsburg Saladworks will be the first of its kind and will help the area’s diverse population have more varied dining options.

This will be the first location in the Pocono Mountains area. “We’re excited to be the healthiest and most convenient dining option in Stroudsburg,” says Chairman and CEO John Scardapane. “From college students to lifelong residents, Saladworks is ready to satisfy everybody’s hunger for guilt-free dining.”

A fusion of fanatic’ly fresh and healthy menu items along with passionate customer service define the experience each guest receives at every Saladworks location. Saladworks offers all customers the opportunity to create their own customized fresh salad, which is then expertly prepared in plain view to them by an extensively-trained Saladworks team member. Customers can also choose from one of 12 classic Signature Salads. All of Saladworks’ offerings are chopped fresh daily in every location across the country. Saladworks isn’t just salads, either – proprietary soups, fresh wraps, hot panini sandwiches, and Fusion sandwiches are offered at all locations.
