At the annual meeting of Pizza Factory franchise operators, the West Coast-based chain announced its selection of pizza point of sale solutions provider SpeedLine Solutions Inc. as the company’s exclusive POS partner.

“We chose SpeedLine for the future of Pizza Factory,” says Mary Jane Riva, the chain’s CEO and president. “After considerable research, the decision came down to a history of excellent support, ease of use and training, demonstrated costs controls, proven stability, and ongoing innovation.”

Riva adds, “SpeedLine provides us with new tools and business information to streamline operations and market more effectively, driving sales for all our franchisees.”

“Although we have served some franchise locations for many years,” says SpeedLine president John de Wolde. “This new partnership will allow us to work more strategically with Pizza Factory to achieve their growth goals.”

Pizza Factory will roll out SpeedLine point of sale systems to all new locations and to all existing franchise locations as they upgrade software.

“It will be exciting to assist Pizza Factory in defining a technology strategy to support the expansion of the chain and help improve individual franchise profitability,” de Wolde adds.

Multi-unit franchise owner Karen Dye says, “Speedline has been an extremely user friendly system to operate in our Pizza Factory locations. I recommend to SpeedLine to every Pizza Factory franchisee.”

The first Pizza Factory installation of SpeedLine POS was completed in 2004.
