Beginning Tuesday, November 19, hungry Sugar House residents can feed their need with their own neighborhood Dunkin’ Donuts at 1490 E. 2100 S. The grand opening for the Sugar House store is scheduled for this Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 5:00 a.m. The new restaurant includes a convenient drive-thru and is located across from Sugar House Park at the corner of 1500 East and 2100 South.

Sizzling Platter, a Utah based restaurant management company, will open this location, with additional Dunkin’ Donuts sites planned for the Wasatch Front.

Sugar House is an eclectic community and we think this Dunkin’ Donuts store adds to the appeal of the neighborhood,” says Ted Morton, Sizzling Platter CEO. “No matter if you’re vegetarian or would enjoy a “Turkey, Cheddar & Bacon” sandwich, we have something for everyone in each of our Dunkin’ Donut locations.”

Dunkin’ Donuts offers many products from famous pastries to popular sandwiches and coffee and tea drinks. “We are thrilled to have this Dunkin’ Donuts site open its doors and look forward to being a bigger part of Sugar House’s vibrant community,” says Mark Howe, vice president of operations. After the grand opening, this new store, along with its drive-thru will be open daily 4:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Currently, there are six other Dunkin’ Donut stores along the Wasatch Front: one each in Ogden, Bountiful, West Valley City, Taylorsville, South Jordan, and Salt Lake City. All of them have opened within the last five months. Sizzling Platter operates and manages restaurant locations across seven western states under the Dunkin' Donuts, Little Caesars, Sizzler, Red Robin, and Hoppers Grill & Brewing Company brands.
