Tin Drum Asiacafé announced its newest franchised location in Marietta, Georgia, in the Barrett Creek Plaza shopping center. The 1,800-square-foot unit, which is the first in Cobb County, will open the week of November 24. The unit will be operated by franchisee Hamad Mazhir, who already owns the Georgia State University Tin Drum.

Barrett Creek Plaza, which was recently sold to a Miami-based private investor for $7.8 million, is located at 125 Earnest Barrett Parkway across from Super Wal-Mart and Publix-anchored centers, as well in close proximity to the 1.2 million-square-foot Town Center at Cobb Mall, which features Belk, JCPenney, Macy’s, and Sears.

“Cobb County needed a Tin Drum,” Mazhir says. “The success this franchise has seen across the southeast, but especially in Georgia, is all the confirmation we needed to pursue this newest location. We are looking forward to introducing the area to fresh, authentic Pan Asian cuisine in laid back, fast-casual environment.”
