Master's Winner Bubba Watson Gives Barberitos Shoutout

What is the first stop the 2012 Masters winner makes when getting to Augusta, Georgia, for his run at a second title? Barberitos Southwest Grille and Cantina, of course. The franchise was ecstatic to see a tweet from the likes of such a well-respected athlete on Friday, August 4. The Masters champ tweeted “Gotta start the trip to Augusta off right with @BarberitosPepe!! #BurritosAllWeek.” Barberitos burritos are packed with protein and the choice of 32 fresh ingredients; a combination that is sure to fuel an athlete like Bubba Watson in the week ahead.

The Masters are being held at Augusta National Golf Club April 7-13. There have been talks of Watson being a favorite to win the tournament this year, and Barberitos is proud to be apart of his week in Augusta. Founder and CEO, Downing Barber, even had a proposition for Bubba Watson on his twitter feed on Friday, “@bubbawatson That's what we like to hear! The CEO, Downing Barber, says he will drive to Augusta to personally make them for you ALL week!” The restaurant is located at 1151 Agerton Lane and is welcoming all those visiting for the championship this week.

Barberitos is a quick service restaurant offering fresh, made in-house food that is customized and made to order. Burritos, tacos, salads, quesadillas, and nachos are their specialties.

Committed to serving “farm fresh” food, Barberitos serves all natural vegetables delivered to stores and hand-cut daily. Whole breasts of chicken are grilled fresh, as is the high quality cuts of steak, and choice ground beef. Barberitos restaurants are not equipped with microwaves, as all food is prepared fresh. Barberitos’ salsas, guacamole, hot sauces, meat marinades, salad dressings, rice, beans, char grilled meats, chips, and dips are made from scratch each day.

Each menu offering is prepared at the time it is ordered right in front of the customer. Barberitos “7 Under 7” menu features seven items each under seven grams of fat including a mini grilled chicken burrito, jerk fish taco, and a variety of salads.

Barberitos provides full-service catering ranging from burrito boxed lunches to taco, salad, nacho, or fajita bar that can be customized to serve a few to several hundred people.

Barberitos has 52 signed restaurant locations, 37 of which are open for business in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida.
