Green Burrito at Carl’s Jr. expands its menu of delicious Mexican food favorites with the arrival of Grilled Flautas with Charbroiled Chicken. Also known as “tacos dorados” or “golden tacos” in Mexico, the new Grilled Flautas with Charbroiled Chicken feature Green Burrito’s flavorful charbroiled chicken, spicy Santa Fe sauce and shredded Jack and Cheddar cheeses rolled in a flour tortilla and grilled, and served with a side of guacamole. Grilled Flautas with Charbroiled Chicken are available now at all dual-branded Carl’s Jr./Green Burrito restaurants.

“Chicken taquitos have been a staple on Mexican restaurant menus for many years now so we decided to try another rolled-up Mexican cuisine favorite, flautas,” says John Koncki, director of product development at Carl’s Jr. and Green Burrito. “We fill ours with marinated, charbroiled chicken, shredded Jack and Cheddar cheeses, and a dollop of our spicy Santa Fe sauce, then brown them on the grill until they’re toasty hot. We even serve them with a side of our freshly prepared guacamole.”

Grilled Flautas with Charbroiled Chicken are available in two-piece and four-piece sizes for $2.69 and $4.99, respectively, and may also be ordered in a combo meal with tortilla chips or fries and a drink. Prices may vary by location.
