My Fit Foods welcomed David Goronkin as the newest member of its growing executive team. Formerly CEO of Garden Fresh Restaurant Corporation, Goronkin brings more than 30 years of restaurant experience to My Fit Foods, serving as its new chief executive officer.

"I couldn't be more thrilled to join My Fit Foods, and carry on its mission of providing healthy, nutritious, convenient, and balanced meals to customers all over the country," Goronkin says. "The My Fit Foods brand is as well positioned as any I've seen in the industry, so I'm eager to continue advancing its reach and increasing market share."

To help do so, Goronkin plans to add new talent to his executive team by recruiting experienced individuals who have participated in high-growth expansion.

Having worked in the restaurant industry since high school, Goronkin has proven to be instrumental in the success of several well-known restaurant chains and franchises since the late 1980s.

Most recently, Goronkin led Garden Fresh Restaurant Corporation, the nation's largest fresh, made-from-scratch soup, salad and bakery buffet chain with operations across 15 states.

Recognized as an industry leader, Goronkin lends more than three decades of operational experience and a demonstrated record of success to the emerging My Fit Foods brand. His depth of expertise in multiple segments of the restaurant business—general operations, manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain—is what My Fit Foods needs to take it to the next level.

"My Fit Foods has emerged as the largest player in the freshly prepared, nutritionally balanced, ready-to-Eat segment," says Mario Mendias, founder of My Fit Foods and chairman of the board, "With David's demonstrated capacity to drive breakthrough business performance, build brand equity, and guide through responsible growth, I'm confident he will build a high-performing and engaged team that will lead My Fit Foods to even greater heights."
