Wendy’s confirmed its relationship status with the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger through its final #PretzelLoveSongs music video, and the good news is that the pretzel bun is here to stay.  Released this week on Wendy’s #PretzelLoveSongs YouTube playlist and Facebook page, the brand’s last #PretzelLoveSongs music video celebrates fans’ desires to keep the pretzel bun love alive.

All summer long, Wendy’s asked fans to share their love of its pretzel bun using the hashtag #PretzelLoveSongs for a chance for their social media posts to appear as lyrics in a series of over-the-top music videos that traced the pretzel love story.

The final music video, “Let It Live,” features sound bites of consumer tweets in a dance-pop anthem sprinkled with gold chains, confetti, and pretzel jewelry. The closing credits of the video announce the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger is now Combo 11.

“The pretzel bun initially returned this summer as a limited-time offering, but this bun has become a fixture in the hearts of consumers across America,” says Liz Geraghty, Wendy’s vice president of brand marketing. “We’ve had fun bringing their pretzel bun passion to life through music all summer long and are now pleased to share the love by adding the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger to our standard menu.”

The Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger will join Wendy’s signature sandwiches, such as its Dave’s Hot ‘N Juicy cheeseburgers and the Asiago Ranch Chicken Club, as Combo No. 11 on the menu. The Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger features warm Cheddar cheese sauce, applewood-smoked bacon, and smoky honey mustard. The patty is garnished with Cheddar cheese, sliced red onions and tomato, and spring mix made with nine different greens. Chicken lovers can also customize their sandwiches to include the pretzel bun for an additional charge.
