Sonic Drive-In introduced its new Cheesy Pub Chicken Sandwich. With rich, cheesy flavors blended together atop chicken, the sandwich packs a flavorful punch for when fall comfort-food cravings call.
The Cheesy Pub Chicken Sandwich is made with a 100 percent all-white meat grilled or crispy chicken breast and topped with a pub-style Cheddar cheese sauce, sliced white Cheddar cheese, caramelized onion sauce, lettuce, and tomato, all sandwiched together in Sonic’s signature ciabatta bun made with whole grain. Guests with a burger craving can order this sandwich with Sonic’s 100 percent pure beef patty, too.
“We’ve been busy bolstering our chicken lineup with creative combinations our guests will love, and the Cheesy Pub Chicken Sandwich was created to offer guests that warm, comforting feeling that is really the essence of fall cuisine,” says chef Claes Petersson, vice president of product innovation at Sonic. “The new cheesy pub sauce coupled with white Cheddar and caramelized onion sauce works together with our juicy white meat chicken to form a sandwich full of gourmet flavors that you wouldn’t expect from a quick-service restaurant.”
The Cheesy Pub Chicken Sandwich or Burger is the perfect option for lunch or dinner; customers can pair it with Onion Rings and a Shake for a complete Sonic pub experience. Just like the entire Sonic menu, the Cheesy Pub Chicken Sandwich is made to order and available all day, but only for a limited time.
