During the month of September,Chop't Creative Salad Company has partnered with Every Mother Counts, the non-profit organization dedicated to making pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother. Every Friday this month, Chop’t will donate $1 from the sale of each of its "Destination Salads" to Every Mother Counts. These limited-edition salads ($9.79–$10.49) draw inspiration from dishes from around the world.

The Kensington Cobb salad includes grilled chicken, aged English Cheddar, radish, and English muffin croutons chopped with romaine and Mesclun lettuce and topped with Creamy Coleman's Mustard Dressing. The Spicy Greek salad includes spicy goathorn peppers, Feta cheese, roasted tomatoes, cucumber, and pita chips chopped with romaine lettuce and topped with Greek lemon vinaigrette. Finally, the Baja Cobb salad includes Baja chicken, avocado, tortilla chips, and Mexican street corn chopped with romaine and purple cabbage and topped with Valentina ranch.

To celebrate the partnership, Chop't's newest restaurant (238 Crown Park Avenue, Gaithersburg, Maryland, 20878, in the Downtown Crown center) will throw a "Chop't Gives Day"on September 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. During the event, guests will be able to purchase any salad or salad sandwich at Chop't Gaithersburg for free with a $2 donation to Every Mother Counts.

One hundred percent of these donations will go directly to benefit programs that Every Mother Counts supports. These programs, which have impacted nearly 50,000 lives, address three critical barriers to maternal health around the world: transportation, education, and supplies.

The partnership continues Chop't's commitment to improving the health and wellness of Chop't communities. As part of its dedication to this "Chop't Gives" initiative, Chop't also partnered with non-profits such as Wellness in the Schools and DC Greens to bring healthy meals and healthy habits into public schools.
