Pressed Juicery, the California-based juice, added to a year of milestones with the unveiling of a new menu on October 6. After listening to customer feedback, Pressed Juicery debuts three classic kid- and adult-friendly juice flavors of orange, apple, and watermelon; new rose and green coconut waters, both of which will be offered alongside the company’s popular original coconut water; and a cold-brewed coffee drink with vanilla bean. The revamped menu is available in all 20 Pressed Juicery locations and online, and also includes updated versions of original flavors and the re-introduction of the popular Brazil nut signature blend, made with kale, spinach, romaine, vanilla bean, dates, and sea salt.

In addition to the new juices and coconut waters, Pressed Juicery will also introduce smoothies and soups, a first for the company, exclusively at the Manhattan Beach location. The soups, which include a green soup, featuring a mix of cucumber, zucchini, spinach, avocado, garlic, lemon, olive oil, and sea salt, and a tomato soup, comprised of tomato, avocado, fennel, cucumber, red pepper, garlic, lemon, basil, and sea salt, are served chilled in take-away bottles, and can be enjoyed cold or hot. Pressed Juicery’s smoothie combinations will offer a green smoothie, with a blend of spinach, kale, orange, coconut water, mango, peach, and banana, and a fruit smoothie, made using strawberry, banana, pineapple, apple, and coconut meat.  The menu additions arrive on the heels of the summer 2014 debuts of “Freeze,” Pressed Juicery’s signature healthy soft-serve frozen treat, and the company’s first book, “JUICE: Recipes for Juicing, Cleansing, And Living Well.”

“We took our customers’ comments to heart when creating the new items, and saw an opportunity to improve the juices our fans have grown to love while adding a fresh twist to our menu,” says CEO and cofounder Hayden Slater. “This year has been big for us with ‘Freeze’ and the release of our first book, and we’re thrilled to keep this momentum going with our new items, and ongoing expansion throughout California.”

Adding to the excitement of the menu changes, Pressed Juicery will grow upon the company’s existing 20 California locations, with plans to open new stores in the Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Francisco Bay Area markets throughout the remainder of 2014 and into 2015. Upcoming openings for this year include Walnut Creek in October; Westcliff Plaza and Fashion Island in Newport Beach in November; and Hollywood in December.

“Freeze,” currently available exclusively at the Palo Alto store, is slated to appear at all future Pressed Juicery locations. An evolution of Pressed Juicery’s signature juices, “Freeze” is made using solely Pressed Juicery products, offering all the natural nutrients found in fresh produce, and is available in six flavors.
