For a limited time only, California Tortilla guests can enjoy the best of both worlds at the fast-casual restaurant chain with the new Cheeseburger Burrito.
Forget the bun—California Tortilla rolls lean ground beef into a flour tortilla, then adds in sliced avocado, salsa, California Screamin’ sauce, Romaine lettuce, jalapeños, Mexican rice, and queso, to make the ultimate Cheeseburger Burrito.
“We’re always looking for new and delicious ways to re-imagine Mexican cuisine,” says Robert Phillips, president of California Tortilla Inc. “By adding traditional Mexican flavors to the classic cheeseburger, we came up with something fresh and exciting—and we can’t wait for our customers to try it.”
The new LTO item is available at all California Tortilla locations nationwide through December 31. The chain will sell the item for $6.59 for a small burrito and $7.39 for a regular burrito or bowl. Guests can take it up a notch and add bacon for just $1 more.
