Adding to the 16 locations open in the state of Texas and 80 locations nationwide, Great Wraps announced a recent franchise agreement in Austin, Texas. The fast-casual brand signed a deal with entrepreneurs Amin Maredia and Noordin Prasla to open a location in 2015 in the city’s popular Barton Creek Square Mall.

“Barton Creek Square Mall is the ideal place to continue expanding the brand’s presence in Austin, with the mall currently missing a restaurant that provides a healthy, flavorful alternative to fast food,” Maredia says. “We look forward to providing Austin residents and shoppers with what we feel is a unique dining experience.”

Great Wraps continued its increased franchise growth in Texas in part due to its innovation and excellence showcased in its prototype and restaurant designs. The brand’s flexible footprint empowers franchisees to take advantage of the prime mall food-court locations in a retail shopping center, a venue proved to be successful in the state of Texas. The chef-created menu, which embraces the best flavors from around the world, appeals to diners and fosters growth as well.

“When a customer visits a mall, outlet shopping center, or other retail shopping development, they are seeking a restaurant like Great Wraps to provide a delicious, hot-off-the-grill wrap or sandwich that is full of flavor and fresh ingredients,” says Mark Kaplan, chairman and CEO of Great Wraps. “Great Wraps always performs exceptionally well in these venues, and we believe the Barton Creek Square Mall location will follow suit.”

In addition to opening this mall location, Maredia and Prasla are actively seeking to secure additional leases to further expand the brand’s footprint in the Austin metro area. Texas residents and guests can visit Great Wraps throughout the state, including locations in Houston, San Antonio, The Woodlands, and more.
