Chicken Salad Chick is opening their new location on the campus of Auburn University. The restaurant is located in a new addition to Foy Hall and is a full restaurant with a dining room and patio. The on-campus menu will differ slightly, offering fewer varieties of chicken salad but more convenient options for on-the-go guests. Hours of operation for the restaurant are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“The University and its students have expressed a desire for expanded options in their campus dining, and Chicken Salad Chick will certainly bring a new variety to campus,” says president Kevin Brown. “We are so grateful for the loyalty of Auburn students and faculty, and look forward to offering them this convenient campus location”.

The Chicken Salad Chick concept was established in Auburn, Alabama in 2008 in the kitchen of founder, Stacy Brown.  Stacy quickly learned that selling a homemade recipe from her kitchen was against the law, and after being shut down by the health department, she decided to solicit the business expertise of her future husband and fellow founder, Kevin. Together, they opened a small takeout restaurant, which quickly grew to enormous demand and additional locations. Chicken Salad Chick has sold 100 franchises to be developed across the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas; it has plans to expand nationally in the coming years.

“As an Auburn graduate, I am thrilled to bring the Chicken Salad Chick experience to campus,” says Brown. “This community has played such a tremendous part in helping grow our story and brand, and we could not be more exited to better serve Auburn University in this way.”
