Bruegger’s Bagels, known for its authentic New York-style bagels, signature coffees, and egg sandwiches, will once again offer green bagels to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day from Saturday, March 14, through Tuesday, March 17.
First sold in 1997 at a Pittsburgh Bruegger’s Bagels location, green bagels are made in the same authentic New York style as the bakery’s regular menu bagels — kettle-boiled and baked fresh in small batches.
“Our green bagels are a fun, annual St. Patrick’s tradition that our customers have enjoyed for nearly 20 years,” says Judy Kadylak, vice president of marketing for Bruegger’s Bagels. “They are a festive touch for any St. Patrick’s Day brunch, party or morning meeting.”
As part of the celebration, Bruegger’s Bagels eClub members will receive a coupon, valid at participating bakeries, for $2 off a Big Bagel Bundle, with 13 bagels of any variety and two tubs of cream cheese.
Guests ordering one dozen or more green bagels are encouraged to preorder.
