In a recent study, the Scotch-Brite Quick Clean Griddle Cleaning System cleaned a food soiled griddle 40 percent faster than the leading competitive griddle cleaning system, based on time to clean equivalently soiled griddle surfaces.
3M’s griddle cleaning system evaluation and testing research was conducted on a standard size commercial flat top griddle. For the study, a 12” x 12” area of the griddle surface was soiled with a food soil mixture made of common food ingredients and baked for one hour at 350 degrees. Both systems were used as directed to clean the griddle surface. 3M measured the time it took to scour until all burnt food soil was loosened and squeegeed off.
Results showed the Scotch-BriteTM Quick Clean Griddle Cleaning Systemcleaned the griddle in an average of 66 seconds compared to the leading competitor’s average of 126 seconds.
