Chicken Salad Chick, revealed today the winning flavor of the Pick a New Chick Contest held this spring. After thousands of votes from fans, the “Dill-icious Diva” was declared the winner. This flavor is a bright and refreshing combination of summery dill and cool, crisp cucumbers. Starting June 1, the “Dill-icious Diva” will be served alongside the summer menu at all Chicken Salad Chick locations for a limited time.

“We are so excited to reveal the new flavor and pair it with the Summer Salad,” says founder Stacy Brown. “When you try the “Dill-cious Diva,” you are tasting summer! I know that our guests are going to love it as much as I do.”

The contest began in March and allowed fans and employees to submit ingredients for a new chicken salad flavor online. After receiving thousands of entries, “Curry Queen,” “Dill-icious Diva,” and “Southwest Senorita” were chosen as finalists by Brown. Fans were then able to vote for their favorite finalist during the month of April, also receiving a chance to sample the recipes at all store locations for a week.

The “Dill-icious Diva” was submitted by Jennifer Kirkland of Tallahassee, Florida, who will receive a $5,000 prize for her winning entry. “I've never won anything like this before, so I have been grinning from ear to ear. My flavor served in all stores this summer? Wow!” Kirkland says. “I’m looking forward to celebrating in the new Tallahassee location today, thanking all of those that voted and sharing smiles and laughter with the whole CSC team!”
