Today, Taco Bueno, the Mexican quick-service restaurant chain, opened its first location in Colorado Springs, Colorado, marking yet another milestone as the brand known for “Tex-Mex Made Fresh” continues to expand.

The new Colorado Springs restaurant is the first of three slated for Colorado this year. The restaurant is located at 7970 N. Academy Blvd. across from the Chapel Hills Mall. Two more Colorado Springs locations will open this year, with one opening next month at the intersection of Garden of the Gods Road and Hilton Parkway and the other planned for this fall at the intersection of Tutt Blvd. and Dublin Blvd.

“Taco Bueno is very excited to introduce our unique ‘Tex-Mex Made Fresh’ concept to Colorado Springs,” says CEO Edward Lambert. “We were impressed by the number of requests we received on social media from Colorado Springs consumers asking us to bring Taco Bueno to their area. We’re responding to them and expect this to be a very strong market for us.”

Building on significant sales and transaction growth in 2014, Taco Bueno has recently opened four new locations in Oklahoma and will open another two in Texas this year, including the chain’s first on-campus restaurant located at The University of North Texas in Denton.

“To accelerate our expansion plans, Taco Bueno is also ramping up its franchising program. We are actively recruiting qualified franchisees,” says Taco Bueno president Mike Roper.

Since 1967, Taco Bueno has offered authentic Tex-Mex recipes prepared fresh in every restaurant, every day. Using only the highest-quality ingredients, Taco Bueno is known for its fresh salsa bar featuring multiple salsas made in-house daily. Taco Bueno serves flame-grilled chicken, fresh ground beef, slow-simmered beans prepared overnight, and fresh-made guacamole, plus chips and shells cooked daily in-house. Taco Bueno delivers great tasting handmade tacos, burritos, and nachos and offers signature items like the “MexiDips & Chips.”
