Bojangles’ Inc., the popular Southeast restaurant chain known for its uniquely seasoned and marinated chicken, made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits, and breakfast served all day, every day, will grow the brand in West Virginia and Kentucky over the next several years.

A new West Virginia Bojangles’ opened Monday, July 6 at 701 Oakdale Road in Princeton. The new franchised Bojangles’ is part of a development agreement that is intended to bring multiple new Bojangles’ restaurants to the state over the next several years.

The company has also signed a new multiunit development agreement with a separate franchise group that is intended to bring multiple additional restaurants to major markets in West Virginia and Kentucky, starting as early as 2015. Two Bojangles’ restaurants are currently open in the state of Kentucky: one in London and the second in Franklin. A new Bojangles’ is slated to open in August in Corbin.

As of March 29, the chain has 635 restaurants primarily in the Southeast, with 377 of those franchised. The new restaurants throughout Kentucky and West Virginia are part of Bojangles’ strategic growth plan. The brand intends to open between 50 to 57 new restaurant locations system-wide in 2015.

“Bojangles’ has a fiercely loyal customer following throughout the Southeast, and we are excited to expand our footprint in both West Virginia and Kentucky to bring more of our famous, made-from-scratch menu items to new markets and new guests,” says CEO Clifton Rutledge.

Fans are attracted to Bojangles’ proprietary, made-from-scratch fare, offering a flavor profile unlike anything in the market and breakfast served all day, every day. The menu features southern classics with Bojangles’ one-of-a kind flavors, including fresh, never frozen, hand-breaded bone-in chicken, buttermilk biscuits, sandwiches, flavorful fixin’s ,and Legendary Iced Tea steeped the old-fashioned way.
