‘Fast-fine’ dining originator, Fresh To Order, is elevating the fast-casual category with the introduction of USDA-Certified Prime beef to its menu. Grilled prime steak now features prominently in several dishes, including the Grilled Steak Panini and several entrées such as the Grilled Steak Long Plates. Guests can also top any one of Fresh To Order’s nine freshly made salad choices with it.

“We strive to offer the best, freshest food we can,” says Chef Jesse Gideon, Fresh To Order corporate chef and COO. “We are a premium brand, and USDA-Prime fits in with that. It is the best of the best when you are discussing USDA-certified beef. Only around 2 percent of all beef is graded prime. It’s the most tender, juiciest, and best-flavored steak naturally of any grade.”

Fresh To Order’s prepares its steaks with a simple infused olive oil rub finished with fresh cracked pepper and coarse salt to best complement the premium beef’s finer flavor and naturally tender texture. Steaks are then grilled to order allowing guests to experience Five-Star steakhouse quality at fast-casual prices.

“Prime beef is usually found in specialty butcher shops and high-end, upscale steakhouse,” Chef Gideon says. “We serve the same quality at one-third the cost and in one-third amount of the time.”

The introduction of prime beef is just the latest example of Fresh To Order’s commitment to offering guests flavorful, fresh, affordable food. In 2014, Fresh To Order expanded its Long Plate entrees to cater to fast-casual diners looking for heartier fare during the dinner day part. Offerings now include Coconut Curry Salmon served with fresh coconut curry sauce, roasted corn peanut relish, and wheat berry rice and Wild Mushroom Prime Beef Steak served with mushroom cream sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, and roasted wild mushrooms.

They join a menu of dishes also more commonly associated with full-service dining, such as: Crushed-Almond Crusted Tuna Steak, Brown-Sugar Roasted Pork Loin, and hand-formed from scratch Black Bean, Bison, and Tuna Burgers.

Fresh To Order offers those choices along with a variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches in less than 10 minutes for an average ticket price of about $10. In addition, Fresh To Order is a member of the National Restaurant Association's Kids LiveWell program, designed to help parents make the healthful choice the easy choice for their children when dining out. Combine Fresh To Order’s focus on healthier, flavorful menu choices with its open-kitchen set-up and commitment to great customer service, and you have an experience like nothing else in the category.
