“Fast-fine” dining pioneer, Fresh To Order is partnering with the veteran restaurateurs at Progressive Dining Group (PDG) to bring Fresh To Order’s chef-driven menu of freshly prepared, healthy dishes to the Chicago Loop.  The multiunit agreement between Fresh To Order and PDG’s newly created Fresh To Order entity named 4 Greeks Hospitality Inc., calls for the opening of four units in downtown Chicago. The first restaurant is projected to open in 2016.

Fresh To Order combines the quality of food fine-dining restaurants are known for with the efficient service and price point of fast casual. Its entrées, soups, salads, and sandwiches are made to order in less than 10 minutes for an average ticket price of $10. Combine Fresh to Order’s focus on healthier, flavorful menu choices with its open-kitchen setup and commitment to great customer service, and you have an experience like nothing else in the category.

Progressive Dining Group owns and operates 10 Chicagoland restaurants and nightclubs and is a full service, food and beverage hospitality company. Brands under the PDG umbrella include Gino’s Steakhouse, Jelly Pancake House, Gelsosomo’s Pizzeria, Bullpen Luxury Bar, Longshots Sports Bar, and True BBQ & Whiskey Bar. In addition, PDG operates as both a commercial and private Food Service Provider (FSP).

“The common thread among all our brands is innovation and great hospitality,” says Steve Vlahos, PDG partner. “That’s why Fresh To Order’s chef-driven take on fast-casual dining attracted us. We’re excited about this new partnership with Fresh To Order and know that Chicago’s discerning diners will quickly learn to love the Fresh To Order concept as much as we do.”

Earlier this year, Fresh To Order announced three other major market expansions in Texas, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The brand plans to also continue opening corporate-owned units. Fresh To Order also has open units in high-traffic growth areas such as the CNN Center in Atlanta and Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport.

“Progressive Dining Group’s operational expertise and understanding of the Chicago market will serve us well as we bring our ‘fast-fine’ dining to the Midwest states," says Pierre Panos, Fresh To Order Founder and CEO. “Chicago is home to many strong restaurants and we believe we’re putting Fresh To Order’s continued growth in very experienced hands with PDG.”
