Mamoun’s Falafel Restaurant, already with six locations in operation between New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut has hired director of operations, Christopher M. Ferrone, to manage the organization and expansion efforts of the brand as they launch an explosive franchise program. Ferrone’s previous experience as the area director for Bobby’s Burger Palace, celebrity Chef Bobby Flay’s restaurant chain, included day-to-day operations and high-level training responsibilities within his area’s locations.

Mamoun’s Falafel, New York City’s most iconic falafel shop, made the decision to start franchising after almost 40 years of being family owned and operated. In a statement from Hussam Chater, owner and director of franchising for Mamoun’s, he says, “For almost 40 years we’ve built a reputation as being a truly authentic and traditional Middle Eastern restaurant, with the highest quality food. As we expand, we are aiming to put in place the best possible team we can assemble to ensure that we continue to uphold that reputation.”

Ferrone says of joining the Mamoun’s team, “I am very impressed with the brand and its reputation, and am excited to be an early contributor to the expansion that lies ahead.”
