Italian lovers rejoice: Starting October 21, Sbarro will introduce a new pizza inspired by the classic Italian sausage sub. Reminiscent of the flavors available at Italian restaurants, street festivals, and stadiums, the Classic Italian Sausage & Peppers Pizza will offer a new take on an old classic.

Available for a limited time, the Classic Italian Sausage and Peppers Pizza is created with a Sicilian sauce and a crust topped with sesame seeds to deliver the experience of a fresh sub. Roasted peppers and onions combine with Sbarro's standard 100 percent whole-milk Mozzarella cheese on top of fresh dough, which is made in-house daily.

"We are mixing two Italian favorites into a classic we are sure our customers will love," says Dwayne Adams, Sbarro's vice president of culinary. "This hearty new recipe offers bold flavors that will keep the entire family satisfied."

The Classic Italian Sausage and Peppers Pizza will be available for purchase in participating eateries through January 4.
