Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants Inc. continues to expand nationwide with development agreements recently signed for six additional stores in the state of Pennsylvania. The new Dickey’s Barbecue Pit stores will be located in the communities of Robinson Township, Cranberry Township, Hanover, Gettysburg, and two stores in York.

Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants Inc. currently has 12 stores in the state of Pennsylvania and is gradually increasing its presence throughout the northeastern United States. Owner-operator Dennis Dacheux Sr. is opening the four stores in South Central Pennsylvania with son Dennis Dacheux, Jr. The new stores in Robinson Township and Cranberry Township will be run by owner-operator Lynda Tran. “This area doesn’t have a lot of barbecue,” Tran says. “People are eating out more and they are attracted by Dickey’s simplicity, authenticity, and quality.”

The Northeast is one of several hot markets for the barbecue chain. With many development agreements in the works from Florida to California, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is truly a bicoastal brand. Franchisees have distinct benefits, which Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants Inc. has become known for, including hands-on training, community marketing support, and low franchise fees.

“We look forward to continuing to bring delicious, slow-smoked barbecue to the state of Pennsylvania, a region that doesn’t typically see many barbecue options. Our authentic Texas barbecue and home-style sides has been very well received,” says Roland Dickey Jr. CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants Inc. “We congratulate the Dacheux and Tran families, and can’t wait to help them get started on their new stores.”
