Revention is pleased to announce the release of their Self Service Ordering Kiosk application. The new application allows consumers to place their own order on a restaurant-provided mobile device, keeping up with the current on-demand consumer culture. Payments can be processed either on the Self Service Ordering application or on another workstation within the restaurant.

"We are very excited about offering the new self-service ordering kiosk solution as another platform for processing orders. Technology within the food service industry is evolving quickly,” says Laura J. Gaudin, director of product management with Revention. “Self-service ordering solutions are being adopted by the major chains due to the reduction in labor cost and increase in check average. It is only a matter of time before self-service ordering becomes a standard business practice.”

Revention’s self-service ordering application pulls the menu straight from the POS menu, eliminating the additional menu management. All orders processed on the application are sent directly to the point of sale, allowing preparation tickets to print immediately.

Revention’s Self Service Ordering application has been adopted by several Revention clients, including a multi-unit sports bar and restaurant operation located in Northeast Wisconsin. Dan Fulton, Director of IT, says, “The kiosks allow us to provide quicker service. We have seen a $10 increase in our check averages since implementing Revention and the self-service ordering devices.”
