Cheeseburger Bobby’s has taken the best elements of the Philly cheesesteak, one of America’s favorite sandwiches, and added some of its own to create something special: the Philly Burger. It’s available for a limited time only until January 15 at all 10 Cheeseburger Bobby’s locations.
The Philly Burger features Cheeseburger Bobby’s traditional seasoned pure Angus beef burger, topped with sautéed green peppers and onions found on the Philly cheesesteak. Queso cheese also tops the burger between a challah bun. Both Cheeseburger Bobby’s fresh-cut fries and battered onion rings complement the Philly Burger nicely. The burger is so celebrated by Cheeseburger Bobby’s guests, that the restaurant chain brings it back to the menu every year.
“Our take on the sandwich is extremely popular with all the flavors coming together for an amazingly delicious experience,” says Bobby Stoll, cofounder of Cheeseburger Bobby’s. “I’ve been to Philadelphia many times and enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak sandwich where it originated. It’s one of my favorites, but I knew we could build upon it to create a truly unique version with the best ingredients Cheeseburger Bobby’s has to offer.”
