Del Taco Restaurants Inc. is spicing up its breakfast menu with the introduction of Mexican Chorizo Sausage, grilled in each restaurant's working kitchen until golden brown and juicy. The flavorful protein option is offered in three brand new breakfast items: the Chorizo Breakfast Taco (only $1 on the Buck & Under Menu at Breakfast), the Chorizo Half Pounder Burrito, and the Epic Chorizo Scrambler Burrito. Made from ground pork seasoned with a slightly spicy blend of special herbs and spices, Del Taco's new chorizo is yet another fresh forward move in bringing guests made-to-order menu items.

Available from 11p.m. to 11 a.m., Del Taco's grilled Mexican Chorizo Sausage is featured in three new breakfast items, starting as low as $1 on the Buck & Under Menu at Breakfast, including:
- Chorizo Breakfast Taco: grilled chorizo sausage and scrambled eggs, topped with freshly grated Cheddar cheese and served in a warm flour tortilla.
- Chorizo Half Pounder Burrito: grilled chorizo sausage and scrambled eggs, freshly grated Cheddar cheese, and red sauce served in a warm flour tortilla.
- Epic Chorizo Scrambler Burrito: grilled chorizo sausage and scrambled eggs, freshly grated Cheddar cheese, crispy hash browns, handmade pico de gallo, and red sauce served in a warm, oversized flour tortilla.
In addition to Del Taco's introduction of Mexican Chorizo Sausage, restaurants are also pouring an even more flavorful Prima Java Coffee, which is medium-bodied and has a smooth taste and sweet aroma. Guests can also wake up with Del Taco's new Prima Java Iced Coffee, featured on the Buck & Under Menu at Breakfast for $1.
