Salad was not in the name for 75-unit Clean Juice—in fact, the brand still doesn’t use the “s” word, says Kat Eckles, cofounder and chief branding officer. But, as guests repeatedly requested salads through surveys, Eckles and her team decided it was time to expand the menu to accommodate the requests.
The protein-rich Greenoa Bowls launched system-wide on Mother’s Day 2019 after a successful pilot program. Each of the three original options includes a blend of quinoa and grains on a bed of organic greens to hit key food groups.
The Green 14 Bowl has 14 types of greens included, as well as quinoa, hard-boiled egg, avocado, walnut, feta cheese, goji berries, and hemp seeds. The Popeye Bowl includes spinach, of course, plus strawberries, quinoa, an egg, avocado, feta cheese, and walnuts, and The Yummus Bowl has hummus, quinoa, medjool dates, avocado, feta, and walnuts on a spring mix. All of Clean Juice’s salads are priced for less than $10, and the brand released its first LTO Greenoa Bowl in September—the Autumn Crisp Bowl featuring a pumpkin hummus seasoned with turmeric.
