Burger King Corporation said that it expects the sale of the 50 millionth Chicken Whopper sandwich to happen sometimes today at a Burger King restaurant.
The Chicken Whopper and Chicken Whopper JR. sandwiches, are the first and only Whopper brand extensions in Burger King’s forty-five-year history. In less than three months, Burger King has sold nearly 50 million of the sandwiches, far surpassing the company’s expectations.
