Red Mango opened its first Indiana store in Indianapolis. The opening also marks another milestone for the company. Red Mango now has 50 stores open across the United States in record time.
“We reached 50 locations in under two years and have just begun our national expansion,” says Dan Kim, president and CEO of Red Mango.
“This country is searching for healthier food that is also delicious, and Red Mango is fulfilling that need. We’ve revved up franchise efforts this year as a direct result of the growing interest in our brand.”
The debut in Indiana follows two recent, successful franchise recruitment seminars in New York and Dallas where the company met with more than 300 investors and entrepreneurs interested in learning about the Red Mango franchise opportunity. Similar events are planned for Seattle and Los Angeles this June.
The Indianapolis store, located at 914 Broad Ripple Avenue, is franchisee John Park’s fourth Red Mango outlet. Park recently signed a multi-state development agreement to open a total of 75 Red Mango stores throughout the Midwest including Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
Red Mango celebrated its Indianapolis grand opening over the weekend with a free small frozen yogurt giveaway to all customers. A record crowd participated in the event, proving there’s a definite demand for the tart, 100 percent all natural, nonfat frozen yogurt in markets outside of New York and Los Angeles.
