Chef Anthony Carron and partners’ 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria opened its first Las Vegas location on Friday, April 4, at Boulevard at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino.
“I spent a lot of time as a chef in Las Vegas, and it is a surreal experience to open a restaurant right on the iconic Las Vegas Strip,” says Anthony Carron, creator of 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria. “Residents and visitors alike won’t find a better authentic Neapolitan pizza anywhere in Las Vegas.”
The restaurant is part of a major transformation taking place at the resort as the front façade is recreated into a gathering place for visitors to take in the city’s sights and sounds while enjoying the flavors of casual restaurants and bars.
“800 Degrees’ casual and approachable concept is a terrific enhancement to our resort’s culinary offerings,” says Monte Carlo general manager Patrick Miller. “With its great service and fun way of creating one-of-a-kind pizzas, 800 Degrees is sure to be an immediate hit with Monte Carlo guests as well as Las Vegas visitors enjoying our new plaza.”
The space has about 120 total seats with a 3,000–square foot dining room inside and a 1,000–square foot outdoor patio. 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria at Monte Carlo will be firing pizzas and serving beer and wine seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria serves build-your-own personal pizzas prepared to each guest’s liking and baked in around a minute in an 800-degree wood-burning oven, right before their eyes. After opening its Westwood Village location in January 2012, 800 Degrees has been turning out, on average, 800–1,200 pizzas per day, serving 300,000 pizzas in its first year.
Having recently opened in Santa Monica and at Los Angeles International Airport, 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria is in a period of aggressive expansion and previously announced locations at the SLS Las Vegas, Hollywood, Pasadena, and downtown Los Angeles. The growing restaurant group also has secured financing to open up to five New York City locations.
800 Degrees was created by Chef Anthony Carron in partnership with Umami Restaurant Group and Allen Ravert.
