To show its appreciation for the 99 employees who persevered through the COVID-19 pandemic and stuck with the team, New Generations Foods, LLC, a North Alabama Bojangles’ franchisee, is surprising each person with a $200 bonus today.

The pandemic created unique challenges, especially in the restaurant industry. After closing its dining rooms due to the pandemic, Bojangles ramped up efforts in drive-thru, delivery and curbside takeout to offer customers safe and convenient options. New Generation Foods wants to thank the 99 team members across 10 Alabama stores that continued to show up for work at Bojangles despite those challenges.

“The loyalty our staff showed during this trying time was inspirational and heroic, and we are grateful to them for working to keep our drive-thru lines flowing and our customers fed,” says Justin Haddock, President of New Generation Foods. “We hope this surprise expresses our appreciation and shows our commitment to rewarding and retaining hardworking team members.”

Coming out of the pandemic, Bojangles is looking for more dedicated employees to join its team. New Generation Foods plans to immediately add 100 team members to its 11 stores across north Alabama.
