Just in time for the first Tennessee restaurant opening, Chopt Creative Salad Co. announced its partnership with DeMarco Murray of the Tennessee Titans.
Chopt prides itself on re-imagining what a salad can be by combining seasonal ingredients and authentic flavors from around the world. Co-founders Tony Shure and Colin McCabe opened the doors of its very first location in New York’s Union Square in 2001. Since, the brand has expanded to Washington D.C., Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut, Virginia and North Carolina; the first Tennessee location (Brentwood) is Chopt’s 53rd restaurant. Over time, Chopt has become known as the market leader for creativity, flavor and quality.
“Our investors are like family,” says Colin McCabe, Chopt co-founder. “We are often approached by interested parties, but the partnerships we move forward with are only with those who truly understand the brand vision and what we’re trying to accomplish. DeMarco and I have spent a lot of time learning about each other and we’ve realized clear alignment in a few key areas: passion for community, a commitment to healthy living, and care for wellness. The investment from DeMarco represents a vote of confidence for Chopt in Nashville and as we grow across the country. We are excited to work with DeMarco to pursue our shared vision in Nashville and beyond.”
“As a professional athlete its critical for me to eat healthy and have discipline in my diet. I fell in love with Chopt during my very first experience. I’ve found that at Chopt, I am able to eat clean, with plenty of variety and more flavor than anywhere else. Eating healthy shouldn’t be boring. After learning more about the culture and brand vision of Chopt from Colin and his partners, it felt natural for us to take the next step and join the family. We are proud and excited to be in Nashville as well,” says Murray.
The new Tennessee restaurant in Brentwood is located at 211 Franklin Road, Suite 160, Brentwood, TN 37027 and features over 55 seats, including communal dining areas, comfortable booth seating, a large outdoor patio area, and playful wallpaper created in partnership with Batabasta, a Spanish design duo.
