Melville, NY (April 8, 2002)– Chase Merchant Services, L.L.C., a joint venture between Chase Merchant Ventures, Inc., a subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase Bank (NYSE:JPM) and First Data Merchant Services Corporation, a subsidiary of First Data Corp. (NYSE: FDC), announced today that Allied Domecq QSR, doing business as Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin Robbins, and Togo’s Eateries Inc., a subsidiary of Allied Domecq, PLC, a London-based global purveyor of food and spirits that bear many of the world’s finest brand names (London Stock Exchange – ALLD), has signed a three-year agreement with Chase Merchant Services, naming them the exclusive vendor of payment processing services for Allied Domecq QSR’s franchisees.
Under the agreement, Chase Merchant Services will provide Allied
Domecq QSR, which includes the restaurant brands Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin
Robbins, & Togo’s Eateries, the ability to accept credit cards from
customers. Allied Domecq QSR operates more than 10,000 locations in the
U.S., Canada, and other countries worldwide with system wide sales of more than $3.8 billion in 2001.
