Anchor Drafts Industry Veteran for Key Manufacturing Role

Anchor Packaging, Inc., North America’s third largest manufacturer of rigid non-foam food packaging, announced the appointment of Thomas Bowden as vice president of manufacturing for all Arkansas facilities. Tom joins Anchor from ProAmpac and brings over 30 years of experience in manufacturing and general management positions, with ever-increasing responsibilities at Pactiv, Sonoco, Pliant and Berry Plastics. “We are confident that Tom’s unique skill set will be a great asset to Anchor,” says Jeffrey Wolff, president of Anchor Packaging. “He has a demonstrated track record of manufacturing excellence and operational leadership that will help support our company’s vision to delight customers and be their supplier of choice.”

Tom is a graduate of Cornell University with a degree in chemical engineering.

Anchor Packaging’s products include affordable, upscale, to-go packaging to merchandise prepared ready-to-heat meals in supermarkets, and takeout meals offered by restaurants and other foodservice operations. Anchor’s unique product line includes stock and custom rigid packaging, as well as a broad line of cling film wraps.
